What is wrong with my tomato plants?

My tomatoes look ripe, but they are kind of hard and have an inner white ring.

Internal White Tissue

Fruit affected by this disorder usually show no outward symptoms. When ripe fruits are cut, white hard areas especially in the vascular region are present in the outer walls. Under severe conditions, fruit may also show white tissue in cross-wall and center of fruit. High temperatures during the ripening period seem to trigger the symptoms. Internal White Tissue is a disorder that involves modified development, not delayed ripening of fruit. These alterations are triggered very early in fruit development and are not reversed by delaying harvest. The problem must be treated before its seen in the field. Adequate Potassium fertilization has shown to reduce but may not eliminate it. Check you soil pH. Extremely high or low pH can restrict a plant's access to available Potassium. Some varieties are more resistant to the problem, especially the high colored varieties.
