Anyone know why my tomotaoes on my tomato plants aren't turning red?

I have had them planted in full sun for over a month and the tomatoes that are already on the vines just won't change. They have barely even gotten any bigger. I have even tried pruning a few of the biggest ones off to make the energy go to the others, but still no luck...Oh, and when i planted them they were put in soil that was treated with nitrates and miracle grow... (oh and they are called "Patio Tomatoes" if that matters at all)

Any helpful advice would be great!

The reason your tomatoes have not turned red yet, is because they are not in season yet. Some tomatoe plants will be ready for picking right about now, but depending on the type of plant you have you may have to wait a couple of more weeks for the tomatoes to ripen.
Reply:Patio tomatoes will probably stay small. As to turning red, it takes time, and plenty of sunshine. Most tomatoes require at least 60 days from seed to maturity of fruit, and some take longer; I'd say give them a little more time, keep them consistently moist, and I think you'll have red tomatoes in another couple of weeks!
Reply:Dont most tomatoe plant,s take over 60 days to develope? Since you said you just put in 30 days ago I think you have @ least 30 more days before you reap your harvest.
Reply:I am having the same problem and i was told by our local gardening warehouse that the sun is too hot and to pick them and put them in the house near a window i did that and guess what they turned a vibrant red. so my advice is to wait till they matured or get to their proper size pick them and put them in a window near your kitchen and they will get red in a few days...
Reply:Give them time and plenty of water I water mine everyday!! The first I was able to pick took over a month to finally turn!!

My plants are about 4ft. tall and I've had the best luck in the neighbor hood I really think it's all the watering!!
