How many tomato, cucumber, zuchini, and bell pepper plants do I need to feed my family of 4 for the summer?

I would like to have enough of the above veggies for the summer and we eat the above several times a day. I cannot find any answers on the internet.

How many tomato, cucumber, zuchini, and bell pepper plants do I need to feed my family of 4 for the summer?
A couple of years ago I had 5 zucchini and 4 yellow squash plants for my young family of 4 and it was a little bit too much because the plants are so proficient..(?).. It was too hot where I live for cucumbers but I think 3 or 4 plants may be plenty. On peppers I would plant 6 or 7 of them and depending on what variety of tomato you plan to grow maybe 6 or 7 of them as well, or mix a few varieties in.
Reply:You probably should have started a few weeks ago but here what I did 6 tomatoes plant, (two Roma and 4 big boy). two zucchini plants, 4 pepper plant (two red two yellow), five cucumber plants they tend to die off fast but keep up with taking the produce off and they will supply more. Two lines of radishes and two line of carrots. If it the first time growing a garden you what to make sure the soil has enough nutrients. I purchases organic soil from miracle grow last year and it work very well grew produce last year. Make sure you mulch the ground or you'll be watering too much to keep plants health. Pepper need a sunny spot: tomatoes too, cucumbers prefer a mixture of sun and shade to prolong there time in produce. Good luck.
Reply:If you plant three tomato plants, 10 cucumber, 10 zuchini and probably 10 bell peppers you will not be able to eat all they will produce. Compost the soil, fertilize and water, water, water. I plant two Zuchini and 6 cucumber and we have plenty. Tomato like a lot of hot summer days.
