I found a tomato plant in a pot that will yield over 400 tomatoes. How can I do this?

Plant was sold as a hanging plant for $30. Tomatoes were said to be as tasty as a regular tomato. They seemed to be the size of the patio tomatoes. The hanging stems each must have had 15-20 fruits on each stem. Is this a certain variety that will produce like this or is it a matter of pruning or what?

Some plants were said to have produced over 600 during the season

Hope they help!
Reply:it' s the variety, when u bought it though it should have had a label in it, if not go back and ask the name of it so u know for next year.
Reply:Indeterminant tomatoes will produce fruit all season. Reasonable to think they'll ultimately give you 400-600 'maters. Determinants produce one crop, considerably less than 100's.
