That depends on the variety. It can be anywhere from 50-75 days
I wanted to known how long it takes for tomato plants to mature.?
I originally put in plants about 8 to 10" high the last week of April. They are now big enough that I have stopped pinching off blossoms. I'm hoping to have some cherry tomatoes by mid-July if not sooner.
So I guess the answer is about 12 to 16 weeks before fruit. It might have been quicker here but we had so much rain when I first put them in the ground that they nearly drowned.
