My tomato plants are turning yellow after all the rain what can i do?

Yellowing is the sign of too much water and iron defeciency. One causing the other. If it is possible you need to give your plants some "air" Poking holes around the base of your plants at the drip line, a butter knife is just about the right size for the job. This helps to get oxygen to the roots so the plants can more easily repair, You also need to feed them some chelated iron (pronounced key-lated) It is a granule in which you work in the soil slightly and water in. after this give your plants time to repair, and you can help them along by pinching off some of the new growth, your objective is to give the tomato plants more roots than plant. Tomatoes actually do this best on the dry side, once they have fruited pull back on the water until they almost droop. This causes all the sugars to form in the tomato thus giving the BEST flavor, too much water will make your tomatoes watery and tasteless.

We have had soooooooooo much rain here too that I am battling the same. I have seen this many times before but it is easily remedied.

Once everything is back on track feed your tomato plants a food just for tomatoes they will love you for it!

God Bless

You need to cover them. Tomato plants are temperamental. They do better in warmer climates but still have to be covered at night and during storms. It takes a lot of love and patience. Good luck.
Reply:the rain has leached the netureunts down out of reach of your root zone, you need to feed then at once and then feed every few weeks, the yellowing is a lack of nitrogen, you can get an all purpose fertiliser specially for tomatoes, happy gardening.
Reply:piss on em
Reply:give them cpr
Reply:FEED them the rain has wahed their food away... make sure they are getting enough heat and sunlight...it sounds like something may be shading them
Reply:This may be due to excessive moisture due to rains in soil. You can make raised beds so that excessive moisture will go away.
Reply:Pull them up and plant in containers so the drainage is better. Then use transplant Vitiam B-12 so they don't go into shock. Then weekly water using Miracle Grow. Then they should be ok. After they are healthy again, cut off the bottom of the container and plant container into ground. If they do it after that, then you will have to just use containers themselves.
