Miracle Grow oR go to the garden section and get tomato plant food just for tomatoes.
Reply:If they do not have a lot of tomatos, you may be giving them too much nitrogen.
Reply:Here in Minnesota we plant them in fertile soil and just give them plenty of water.
Reply:This one I know. You have to go to the hardware store and get a blooming mix. This way you get the right mix of nitrogen, potasium and potash. Remember just because its spelled potash doesn't mean its the same as pot ash. Stop smoking the wacky tobacky and stop drinking beer and peeing on your tomato bushes. Just because your a hop head doesn't mean its good for your plants.
Reply:Make sure the soil is not overly used, as most farmers rotate crops, if you plant the same vegetable in the same spot year after year, the soil gets depleted of it's natural minerals. Try some organic soil additive. Also, here is a great website I found on growing Tomatoes. Good luck, homegrown tomatoes are the BEST!

Reply:Pick up a bag of BoneMeal. You can find it at any local home and garden store, even WalMart carries it. Should be given to your plants at seeding and then about every month of so when watered. Water, too, plays a big part. A full grow tomato plant in summer heat can consume up to 4 gallons of water a day. Keep the soil moist - I recommend self-watering containers. NEVER water plants after the sun has gone down. This promotes fungal growth. Also, try not to water during the hottest hours of the day, the water evaporates too quickly and ALWAYS keep the water in the soil only. If water gets on your leaves, they will get scorched by the sun, prohibiting photosynthesis and reducing the fruit-bearing ability of your plant.
