Can i prune tomato plants to produce more tomato's?

Once your plant is about 3-4 feet tall and displaying trusses which the fruits will grow off, nip off the strongest leading stem(the highest one in most cases).

As your plant is growing , nip off the little leaflets that grow from the main stem from the same point as their dominant branches.

This will channel the plant's nutrition to the stems that provide the fruit.

As soon as the flowers havefaded/dropped, feed with every watering.

Rather than worry about pruning (although the answer about pruning give 2 above is helpful, try planting them in a hole with a thick , muddy mixture of soil , water and bone meal. Immerse the growing plant right into this mixture and the bone meal will give you lots more fruit
Reply:no you don't prune tomato plants. You need to keep plants tall because the tomato will bloom at the top. Just tie your tomato plant to a stake.
Reply:you just have to plant the stem deep into the ground
