Can I plant a tomato plant in a bag and hang it somewhere?

I have 40 tomato plants ,but I live in an apartment. Which mean I don't have place to plant. I want to have my tomato plants hanged around my little yard . if possible, will they have tomatoes?

Can I plant a tomato plant in a bag and hang it somewhere?
I've never used a bag, but I do use buckets. I first used a hanging flower basket of medium size, but I found that I can't keep it moist enough. I switched to a five gallon bucket, and it's perfect. These plants do better than those that I plant in the ground. The plant actually hangs upside down from the bottom of the bucket, and you can then plant flowers or herbs in the top. Remember to water regularly, and use a thick layer of mulch to retain moisture.
Reply:Yes, you can, and they make special potting bags out of reinforced material (sort of like plastic burlap) where the plants hang upside down for this. I've got a couple on my porch now.
Reply:Yes. But it is not very popular, the bags/buckets become very heave, have to be watered more often, wind blows them back and forth. Please read this link:
