HELP....Our tomato plants have Bloom Rot. What is causing this and how can we treat them?

Julie's right

It happens due to inconsistent watering %26amp; or fertilizing. Like if you used Miracle-Gro for the past couple months %26amp; then stopped. Don't let the plants wilt, inconsistant watering causes more problems than just Blossom End Rot.

Also to add to Julies solutions ~ There is a spray available to help correct the definciency.

it's a calcium defficiency. Get some garden lime and apply a couple of teaspoonsful at the roots. water it in well.

pick the afflicted frunits and throw them away. the next ones to ripen should be better.
