Tomato plants should not be watered "every day". They should watered when the soil is dry two inches below the surface. The leaves will start to turn yellow where they meet the stems when they have too much water. Tomato plants are very finicky when it comes to watering. Check out some of the websites for info on watering. Google "growing tomato's". You should get quite a few sites to visit.
Reply:no it will not hurt for the plant to get wet , but don't do it in the hot time off day, early morning or late after noon
Reply:once a day preferd at night so it soaks in not like during day when the sun will evaporate it
Reply:everyday once a day when the sun is going down so it doesnt absorb it and dry them up
