Tomato and cucumber plants from seed?

I have grown some tomato and cucumber plants from seed in little pots. They are now about 2 and half inches tall, are they ready to be moved in a bed in the garden?

Where we are its about 25C degrees everyday and they will be watered every evening so i think they should be ok?

You should harden them off first. start by putting them outside for a couple of hours each day, increase the time every day then plant them in the garden, it should take about a week or so. If you put them outside right away they might die of "shock". When you do transfer them make sure it in the late afternoon or a cloudy day.
Reply:Hi,I have only grown tomatoes.i planted mine outside that

was last year %26amp; our weather was awful.I still got a lovely crop of tomato's.I got that many I had to give them away.Good Luck
Reply:In addition to Krysia's suggestion, I'd like to add that the snails %26amp; slugs will be all over the cucumbers; if you can keep them protected in a larger pot until their main stem and the older leaves have grown that furry hair they usually have, then they will stand a much better chance of repelling the aggressors.
