When is the correct time to put tomato plants in a non heated greenhouse.?

You can put them in there when there is no chance of frost inside the greenhouse.I would recommend that you wouldn't want your hat below 50 degrees even at night. I have had tomatoes wilt a little below 50.

when the evening temp are above freezing,as long as there in side.if you want to rush them a little try bottom heat.in the green house. very simple just run a heating line under the flats or pot,s.they can be picked up at nay garden shop or on line..
Reply:I have always waited till the soil temperature was 58 degrees F. this works for tomatoe and pepper plants both
Reply:Depends on where you live.

If in the U.S. the southern states should be o.k.

In my area I would wait until end of March
Reply:i start mine on march 1st.
Reply:End of May beginning of June is early enough in the U.K. You can keep your seedlings and plants indoors until they are a good 6" tall.Word of warning.Do not put them where it is too warm otherwise they will go all leggy and you will get thin spindly plants.
