But i AM sure that they CANNOT eat tomato plants!!!!!

poisonous to all creatures! tomatoes are night shades so NO ONE can eat them! they can kill a person! (well.. thats just wat my biology book says..)

only the fruit of a tomato is safe

goodluck, and dont mind my rather enthusiastic answer....

anyway, goodluck
Reply:If your bird eats seed, plant some of the seeds from his mix and let him eat them when they sprout.
Reply:Fresh veggies like celery, spinach, carrots, brocholi, letuce leaves - veggies you would eat. Nothing canned and no tomato plants. Dip them in icy cold water for the xtra moisture.
Reply:I wouldn't give it that, fruits like peeled grapes or oranges are ok. (Just make sure to peel the grapes and stuff). He might be ok with the veggies, since it's a parrot. Parrots have big beaks, so it's prob ok, but, better check with some pet expert like the vet just incase
Reply:Tomato plants are poision to birds as well as avacado, chocolate. Plant some bean sprouts for him good for birds and give him fresh veggeis and fruits. Mine eat celery, apples, oranges, and loves boiled eggs and i mash the yolk and give 1/2 tesp for dinner. Also pizza crust, spaghetti smashed up a lil bit. Check out poision plants on the internet or ask an avain vet. Don't delay before you lose a bird
Reply:Other leafy stuff is nice too and maybe cheaper, like lettuce, lots of it and whole apples, plum tree branches.. etc..
Reply:i think must have some help from any doctor that he is more professional in what is the good food that you must gave it to your parrot my friend
Reply:I was on www.birdchannel.com the other day and they have an entire section dedicated to bird diets. I am sure that they have something regarding what is safe for your parrot to eat.
