I have indoor tomato plants in 6" pots, is this large enough?

nope.... even patio tomatoes need root room.... a garden variety tomato will put out seven FEET of roots... now where would they go?..... get a pot!....the plant needs to be able to take up food and water from soil... there's more of both in a larger pot and you won't have to water constantly, maybe.......

A single bush tomato will grow in a six in" pot,it would be best to use a larger size,or adopt the ring culture method.

Tomatoes grown in this way are planted in rings, standing on an inert base and liquid feed applied so that the roots grow and feed in the aggregate.
Reply:I agree with Cat -- a 5 gallon pot / container would probably be your best bet.
Reply:No. A three, or five gallon pot would be better.
Reply:I would use a larger one
