Is it too late to order tomato/strawbeery plants for south wisconson?

why order? Just go to the local nursery and buy them. Then hurry up and plant them. You still have quite a bit of a growing season left. I'm sure you can squeeze in a few tomatoes and some strawberries for the fall.

Ask your local nursery person though. They will know the answer.

not to late to order them but beware I ordered from gardner's choice and plants arrived wilted and eventually died....
Reply:Not with the spring we've had. Up North here (Oneida Cty.) the greenhouses are just getting the tomatoe plants out, and I believe there's still one more chance of frost. So go ahead and plant!
Reply:Why order any go to your local nursery or Wal Mart both are cheaper than ordering. Go soon before they're picked out of your favorites. Our gardens been in for 2-3 weeks. We live in North Eastern Wis, had to cover it tonight, we're expecting frost. Good luck with your garden!
Reply:depends, where its coming from?
