Tiny whtie flies on tomato plants?

Aphids. Kill them with insecticidal soap, a relatively non-toxic solution that basically drowns them.

They can really hurt your plants if there are enough of them.

You need to spray some insecticide on your plants. Make sure to read the label on it. You want something that is safe for vegetable plants. I use ortho insecticide. It comes in a green bottle with a spray nozzle. You can get it at walmart for about $10 and it will last all summer.
Reply:sounds like it could be fruit flies. Use Ortho liquid Sevin. It's good for all fruits and vegetables, and kills many insects.
Reply:Sevin Dust will help...
